Hello Everyone! Welcome to day two of the 2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Day one can be found here.

I am excited to be participating in the 2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. This is an extra fun hop because everyone is welcome to participate. The only requirement is your project has to be Spring themed and use coffee, tea and/or cocoa images/elements. The link-up and more details can be found at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog.

2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

A super quick thank you card for day two. The color palette I used reminds me of Spring.2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day TwoThis card was very simple, but I had the funnest time watercoloring these cups from Love You a Latte by Lawn Fawn. For the watercoloring I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Tumbled Glass and Milled Lavender. Once the cups were dry I stamped flowers from Mini Messages by Mama Elephant. The flowers are stamped using The Ton Stamps Couture Color ink: Hot Tourmaline and Iris Blooms. Thanks (steam) was stamped several times coming from the coffee cups, lighter as it was further away from the cups. I created a table like piece for the coffee cups to sit on. It is Pumice Stone Distress Ink applied lightly with a sponge applicator. I did not want a stark white card, so I quickly colored the white spots of the card with a light blue and a light gray copic marker.
