Hello Friends! I am trying something new and am really excited about it. I thought it would be fun to have a Valentine’s Day Series. My plan is to have one or two Valentine’s Day themed posts per week until the day. Each post in the series will have a giveaway, which is run by Rafflecopter. The prize is the card that I am sharing on the blog post.
2016 Valentine’s Day Series: Day One
This card is a top folding A2 card using Gina K Designs, Lovely Lavender card stock for the base. The panel is Neenah 80# Solar White and die-cut using My Favorite Things, Inside and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle STAX. The hearts are from HoneyBee Stamps, Beautiful Life Stamp Set and stamped using The Ton – Couture Color, Orchid Collection. The large heart stamp is first stamped using the back of the stamp in Soft Orchid. Then stamped like normal using Orchid Crush. The small hearts are stamped using Grand Fuchsia. The sprinkles are stamped using Soft Orchid. To add color to the background, Soft Orchid and Orchid Crush were used to blend along the outside of the card. Darker on the outside to lighter on the inside. To add a little sparkle, Clear Wink of Stella was added to the inside of the hearts. Beautiful was embossed using Ranger Platinum embossing powder and always be your own kind was stamped using The Ton – Couture Color, Noir.
