Hello Friends! It is time for another fun challenge at AAA Cards. This time we are challenging you to create a clean and simple card by using up to one third of your card and there is an optional twist of incorporating the masking technique.
Where flowers bloom, so does hope…..
Inspiration: Flowers have been calling to me a lot lately. I am starting to see forced Spring bulbs in the local stores and boy does that ever make me smile. Yes, it is Winter here in Michigan and it is bitter cold. Flowers bring me so much peace and calmness. I know some of you understand. =)
For my card I used the flower from the Altenew Ditsy Print Stamp Set to stamp a floral design on the upper third corner of my card. There was no masking involved. The main image is a floral cluster which makes quick work of the stamping. It is a layered stamp, but it is super easy to line up. For added interest, I decided to stamp the detail only for a couple of the sections. I love how peaceful it turned out. The sentiment, from Altenew Peony Spray Stamp Set, is copper perl heat embossed on Catherine Pooler Smoke Cardstock and adhered to the upper left area of the card with foam tape. (All of the ink colors I used are listed in the supplies list at the end of my post. Use what ever colors make you smile. I know your creation will be beautiful!)
WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU PLAY ALONG WITH US AT AAA CARDS!
