Happy Monday, Friends! I hope all of you had a nice weekend and your week allows you time for some creating. I still have a couple of cards from the Catherine Pooler Adoring You Stamp of Approval Collection to share with you. Today I am sharing a fun card I created using the Love Note Background Stamp and the hearts from the The Key Stamp Set.
You Hold the Key to My Heart
One of things I enjoy most when creating cards is making fun designs with individual stamps. I love the heart stamps in the The Key Stamp Set and of course I had to stamp them in purples!
- Stamp the Love Note Background Stamp (Sweet Sixteen) on a white card base.
- Using a white piece of cardstock measuring at least 4″ x 4″ find the center of it and then stamp the heart design. These hearts are really easy to stamp using a stamp block. Start by finding the center and it should go well from there. I used a purple color palette: Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust and Flirty Fuchsia. It would look pretty in whatever colors make you happy!
- Trim the stamped panel to have a small border and then round the corners with a corner rounder.
- Create a purple layer. Using the direct ink to paper technique, apply Flirty Fuchsia to the edges of a white piece of square cardstock that is larger than your stamped panel.
- While your colored cardstock is drying stamp the sentiment (Midnight) in the center of your heart design on your stamped panel.
- Adhere the layers to your card panel. To add dimension adhere your stamped panel with foam tape.
We can’t wait to see your amazing creations using the Catherine Pooler Designs Adoring You Stamp of Approval Collection. Make sure to tag #catherinepoolerdesigns when you share on social media so we can give you some warm fuzzies.
