Hello Everyone! I am back today with another fun project for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. Today I am sharing a card that was inspired by the Clean & Simple Boutique Cards class. The wonderful Jennifer Rzasa taught this class. I thoroughly enjoyed her teaching style.
For my card I used the Altenew Adore You stamp set. I was inspired by Jennifer’s background card that contained potted plants. I created a clean and simple background with one of the flower stamps. A ruler and some light pencil markings were beneficial in lining up the stamping. I wanted to jazz it up a little, so I added some rose gold embossing to portions of the flowers. Then I added some additional texture by double heat embossing using rose gold embossing powder. Since the goal is to keep this simple, I added a black sentiment strip with white embossing.
Here is a close-up of one of the flowers. I think the double embossing is absolutely beautiful. It adds so much interest to a clean and simple card.
I am working on a card for the Easy Ink Blending Techniques course, so I will return in a day or two with another project.
