Hello Everyone. My sweet friend, Ruby at A Rare Ruby, is the current CAS-Muse at My-Scrap.RU. You will want to head over to both Ruby’s blog and My-Scrap blog. But first, take a look at what I created with Ruby’s challenge. The challenge was to create a project using the following color scheme.
This is what I came up with. I really wanted it to be special because it is also to welcome Ruby back to Instagram.
I started by embossing a portion of the ton’s Rose Terrace background on 110# Neenah cardstock. I used a pink embossing powder. The white portions of the roses are painted with clear Wink of Stella. I then used couture color – crystal pewter dye ink with an ink blending tool to add a little color around the edges of the white panel. Now the fun part. I applied couture color – rose gold bangle pigment ink to the side edges of an A2 card base, using a small paint brush. I adhered the panels together with scor-tape. Then I heat embossed a fun sentiment in white from the ton’s Get It Girl stamp set and adhered with foam tape.
Ruby, “be your kind of beautiful”. Your beauty shines through your kindness and your beautiful creations.
