Hi there….Stopping by real quick to share a card I created for the CASology Week 191 WASHI challenge.
It has been awhile since I have participated in a CASology challenge. When I noticed the theme of the current challenge, I knew I had to participate. You see, I really am not the biggest fan of WASHI tape. It is pretty and all, but it frustrates me. A few months ago I put together a big box of crafting supplies and sent to my sisters in Texas. Included in that box was a significant portion of my WASHI. So, when I saw this challenge I truly wanted to challenge myself to use WASHI in a unique way.
I created a simple thank you card and jazzed it up by decorating Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scalloped Frames by My Favorite Things with WASHI tape. Sorry, the WASHI is old and not labeled. I do not recall the brand or name. The thanks sentiment is from Kind Thanks by My Favorite Things.
I hope you enjoyed my creation and maybe even decide to play along.
COMING SOON
I will have two posts on April 1, 2016. One is part of a blog hop of which myself and a few others will have a giveaway. Hope to see you then!
Have a beautiful day,
Tracie Pond

This is a brilliant use of washi tape, Tracie! Those patterns make fabulous frames and I love the big sentiment. Glad we could inspire you to use some washi and thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

Honestly, I’m with you — washi isn’t my favorite thing in crafting, and I don’t have much. However, I think I will try what you did here — this is so pretty! What a pretty set of frames for a simple CAS sentiment! So glad you played along with CASology — we love it when you join in the fun!
