Let’s get started with the hop. I have three cards to share with you today and several more in the upcoming days.
Hope Your Day is Wonderful
How about a fun rainbow card to get started?! This card will surely make you smile when you create it. The colors are just so cheerful!

For this card I used the blowing bubbles border dies to create a fun and cheerful rainbow design. Using white cardstock and the blowing bubbles border dies, die-cut at least 7 border pieces. Using direct ink to paper or your favorite ink blender apply rainbow colors to your die-cut border pieces. I used the following colors: rockin’ red, orange twist, limoncello, grass skirt, all that jazz, suede shoes and grape crush. While the borders are drying prepare an A2, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inch, top folding white cardbase and a 4 x 5-1/4 inch white panel.
Using sentiments from the awesome & wonderful stamp set, stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the card panel using midnight ink. Allow the sentiment to dry while you are adhering the die-cut borders together with your favorite flat adhesive. Stagger the borders a little bit to get a roof shingle like appearance. Adhere the group of borders to the top portion of the white panel. You will need to trim off the edges. Finally, adhere the card panel to your cardbase with a flat adhesive. To add some volume to the die-cuts gently turn up the bottom edges a little bit.
You are Wonderful

For my second card I created a background using the strolling borders stamp set. The design makes me think of a beautiful brick walkway that one may see in a flower garden. I used a stamp platform to complete the repeat stamping, but it could easily be done with the Catherine Pooler 2-1/2 x 6-1/8 inch stamping block. Use repeat stamping and your favorite color combo to create the background on a white piece of cardstock. I used the following ink colors: seafoam, skylight and daydream. Trim the stamped panel down to 3-3/4 x 5 inch and adhere with craft form to an A2 side folding cardbase. Heat emboss the sentiment from the awesome & wonderful stamp set on vellum cardstock. Trim vellum strip and adhere to your cardbase. To complete your card, adhere a couple of pretty jewels.
Keep Being You
Lastly, I would love to share with you my “favorite” card I created for the Welcome Home release.

This is a circle shaped card using midnight cardstock and the circle dies. Tip: Fold a midnight card base and then place large circle die with just a bit of the top portion hanging off the fold of the cardstock. Run a couple of times through your die-cutting machine. White heat emboss sentiment from awesome & wonderful stamp set on midnight cardstock and trim.
Now the fun part. With a copic friendly ink, stamp the rondi’s window background stamp on a white piece of cardstock. Tip: Use a stamp positioner to stamp background. Leave stamp in place while you are coloring your design. Once the design is colored, re-stamp and clear heat emboss. Color the gorgeous background using whatever colors make you happy. These are the Copic colors that I used: Y00, Y08, RV13, RV21, RV30, C1, B24, V12, V15, V17, BG11, BG15 and BG32. Using a circle die, die-cut background. Using the same circle die, die-cut two to three additional pieces of cardstock to give your stamped piece some dimension. Adhere all of your circles together with a strong liquid adhesive. Adhere to cardbase and then adhere your sentiment to the center of the design with dimensional tape. Finally, add some jewels to finish off your card.
Thank you for spending some time with me. Enjoy the rest of the hop =) Tracie
