Enjoy the Little Things
I was inspired by the Cottage Garden background stamp. For this card I stamped the background with Copic friendly ink on white cardstock and then colored. The Copic colors I used are: BG000, RV04, RV13, V06, V09, V12, Y06, Y35, YR18, E79, B18, B21, B24, BG09, G28, YG17, YG25, YG67, YG97 and G17. After coloring re-stamp and heat emboss.
Using the sentiment from beautiful ride stamp set, white heat emboss on a piece of vellum and then die-cut with a circle die. For the sentiment layer, die-cut a midnight circle the next size larger than the vellum circle. Adhere the circles together. Trim your stamped panel down to 4 x 5-1/4 inch and adhere to a white A2 – 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 cardbase. Adhere the sentiment slightly off the side and then trim. Lastly, add black gel dots to the centers of the flowers.
Happiness Blooms from Within
For my second card I created a smaller sized card coloring just a portion of the cottage garden with zig clean color real brush markers. The colors I used are: 047, 053, 081 and 082. Trim a midnight cardstock layer and adhere your panels to your cardbase. I adhered the colored panel to the midnight panel with foam tape. White heat emboss sentiment from beautiful ride stamp set on vellum, trim a flag and adhere. Finally, adhere nuvo black drops to the centers of the flowers.
I went through these cards kind of fast so you can move on to the video hop. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments and I will reply.
