Hello Everyone! Welcome to Day 3 of the Catherine Pooler Designs Zen Garden Blog Hop. This release is packed with versatile stamps and dies and yes, more beautiful inks. Today we are showcasing: Eat, Sleep, Create and Doodle Garden.
Zen Garden Release: 8 Zen Garden Inks & Refills (part of the Spa Collection), 5 Stamp Sets of which 3 have coordinating dies, 1 Background Stamp, 1 Stencil, 1 Coverplate Die and 4 Word Dies.
EAT, SLEEP, CREATE – GENERATION STAMPING
First, let me share a secret with you. I am overjoyed with the Spa Collection of inks. The 8 new colors, also known as Zen Garden work so well with the Paradise Found Collection. Every time I create a card using one of the colors from the Spa Collection, I have to make more cards in the other colors. So, what I had planned to be one card turned into eight cards.
The eight cards I created are encouragement / motivational cards and work well for anyone. All of them are on a Mirrors A2 cardbase and are one layer cards, making them easy to mail. The stamping is done on the Premium White Cardstock. The vertical stripes are stamped using Black Jack. The dots and short paint swooshes are stamped in the colors listed below the photos. I am loving the 2nd generation colors so, so much! What do you think? The sentiments are heat embossed in bright white. I hope you enjoy all of these beautiful colors =)

DOODLE GARDEN – WHITE AND CLEAR HEAT EMBOSSING
Since I got distracted with my first card or I mean eight cards, I have not completed my project with the Doodle Garden Background Stamp. But, I wanted to share with you what I have started. Everyone is coloring or using ink blending techniques with this beautiful background stamp, so I wanted to do something different. I really love the look of bright white embossing and clear embossing on colored cardstock. So, I proceeded to do so with each of the Catherine Pooler colors of cardstock. Just to see what it would look like, I also created an ombre background on white cardstock and clear heat embossed.
There are so many different ways to use these panels. Sometimes I just put a sentiment on them and call it good. Again, I want to do something different, so I set them aside because I was running out of time. Stay tuned, I will share the completed cards soon!

Tracie… your cards are AMAZING!!!
Love the monochromatic style
Awesome set of cards, Tracie. I do love that these inks work so great for generational stamping (among other things).
Fabulous cards! The graphic design is great. The monochromatic nature reminds me a bit of paint chips (that is a complement!), and we all know how they can inspire!
I loved that doodle-flower stamp right from the get-go. Sometimes experimenting like you have done leads to all kinds of wonderful things! Please share when they are finished.
Gorgeous, colorful cards, Tracie! They really showcase the new inks from CP! Beautiful!
Fabulous cards. I love your designs. Then new colors look perfect.

Really like the look of second generation stamping of the darker colors. Only the yellow was too light for the white embossing to show up well. That is the nature of yellow.
I just love the new colors and you perfectly showcase them with your fun, graphic card design. So cool to see the differences in embossing colors on different colors of cardstock.
I am definitely drawn more to the zen colors than I thought I would be! So pretty – oh and that create stamp set is just awesome. And, your clear embossing of the garden background – I think that’s my favorite use of that stamp so far. Thanks for sharing with us!
Wow, you have been busy Tracie! I love all the colour combos! Very cool and I love the way the background stamp can look so different just by changing the colours of the card and embossing powder.
Great way to showcase the colors.
The colors speak for themselves, don’t they? Love your style on these beauties.
