Happy Friday Everyone! It is time for another Concord and 9th Feature Friday. Today we are featuring the Bits & Pieces Bundle. All stampers will find this set useful in their creations. Whether you like clean and simple, backgrounds or even layers. Let your imagination be the limit to this bundle. So many possibilities.
Love you to pieces! I went for more of a masculine feel to my first card. A little bit of pink is okay, right? This card comes together easily with simple layering, hearts, embossing and nuvo drops. Create a heart with two of the petal stamps. Then stamp the sentiment in a shade darker than the heart. The hearts die from Cuddles & Hugs Die Set (link below in supply list) was used to create the embossed hearts. I love the added interest this gives without being too loud.
Happy, happy birthday. Clean and simple was the route I took for my second card. Die-cuts take center stage. A portion of the sentiment is heat embossed. The script happy is three layers. The flower and leaves are one layer and are adhered with foam tape. Finish the flower off with a coordinating nuvo drop. What a fun mixture of colors and metallics. Here is a close-up showing the dimension and fun colors.
Hello beautiful. I could sit and make cards like this all day. It is a joy to just stamp with shapes and see what magically appears. At this point in my creating planning a card is too stressful for me and ruins the fun. I like to relax and just stamp and see what naturally happens. So, this is what happened when I was stamping with the circles, flowers! If you do not like white space then add some small elements like dots and hello. Tip: Use the tip of the handle of a paintbrush to create small dots. The turquoise layer of cardstock helps to accentuate the centers of the flowers.
The beautiful die from Beautiful You Die Set (link below in supply list) was used to create the layered sentiment. It is five layers and has a layer of clear wink of stella to add some sparkle. How about some rhinestones for a nice finishing touch.
