Happy Monday, Everyone. Before I head out to shop for flowers, I have a card to share with you for Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge. The theme is Florals. This card started Saturday night when I could not sleep. I colored the beautiful flower in the Concord & 9th Happy Words stamp set with Prismacolor pencils. The image was stamped using Simon Says Stamp Fog Gray Ink on Strathmore Toned Grey paper.
My plan was to finish this card yesterday, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. My Husband and I did some yard work and spent the rest of the day on our deck listening to the birds and relaxing. We have not done that in a long, long time and boy did it feel good.
On to the card….I finished the card today. I used an A2 card base in Papertrey Ink Smokey Shadow. To that I adhered a panel that was die-cut in Papertrey Ink Simply Chartreuse Cardstock using Altenew Halftone Cover Die. I fussy cut the floral and adhered with foam tape. The sentiment, Do More of What Makes You, is white heat embossed on Papertrey Ink Smokey Shadow cardstock and is popped up using foam tape. I proceeded to die-cut the word happy (three times) from Concord and 9th Happy Card Frame Dies using My Favorite Things Lemon Drop Cardstock. I adhered them together to add dimension and added some clear embossing on top to add some shine.
Hope you enjoyed!
Hugs,
Tracie
