Christmas Cookies

Yes, I was inspired by the yummy Christmas cookies. You will love them too! Start by white heat embossing several of the cookies on Sand Dunes cardstock and then die-cut, using the Christmas Cookies Stamp Set and the Sugar Cookies Dies. Set the cookies aside and use an ink blending tool to apply some Rockin’ Red ink to a white panel (4 x 5-1/4 inches). Tip: You do not need to worry about fancy blending, just apply some color. Stamp the sentiment in Rockin’ Red, near the center of the panel. Adhere the panel to a Sand Dunes panel (4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches). Then Adhere to a white notecard. Now you are ready to adhere the cookies. I used foam adhesive to add a little bit of dimension. Finally add some nuvo glitter drops (white blizzard) and allow to dry.

Peace on Earth

Those Christmas cookies, I just can’t get enough. But his time I did some coloring with my copics and also incorporated the Cozy Borders Stamp Set and the Holiday Mix Stamp Set. For this card you will be stamping everything but the bird directly on the white card base. Start by stamping the bird with copic friendly ink on white cardstock. Color your bird. I did simple copic coloring using the following colors: W2, W4, RV29, RV06, BG45. Use a white pigment pen to add some details to the cute bird. Die-cut the bird. Use it’s a boy ink and stamp the snowflake border from the Cozy Borders Stamp Set along the bottom of the card base. Take the die-cut bird and figure out placement so you can determine where to stamp the sentiment. Stamp the sentiment from the Holiday Mix Stamp Set in midnight ink and then adhere the bird with foam tape.

Merry Christmas

For my last card I wanted to share the Merry Christmas Layered Word Dies with you. Die-cut Merry Christmas in glitter cardstock and then die-cut the shadow in both vellum and white cardstock. Adhere all three pieces together with liquid glue (from top to bottom: word, vellum shadow, cardstock shadow). The background panel is several of the words from the Holiday Mix Stamp Set white heat embossed on white cardstock, then ink blended with aquatini and rockin’ red. Apply a piece of silver foil washi tape where the two colors meet. Then adhere the layered sentiment with foam tape. Adhere panel to a white card base.

The Home for the Holidays Stamp of Approval Collection is a true joy to create with. Thank you for spending some time with me today and maybe even something sparked your interest. Enjoy the fabulous inspiration along the hop.
