The May 2018 Essentials by Ellen release is now live. The release contains 7 amazing new designs by Julie Ebersole. Today, I am sharing with you a fun card I created using the Mondo Sakura stamp set and coordinating dies.

For this card I started by heat embossing the Mondo Sakura in white on Bristol smooth paper. Then I colored the flowers with zig clean color real brush markers: No. 41 Light Green, No. 50 Yellow, No. 81 Light Violet and No. 82 Purple. A couple of layers were applied allowing each layer to air dry prior to adding the next layer. The colored Mondo Sakura was die-cut with the coordinating die, along with a piece of craft foam and a green piece of cardstock. These layers where adhered together with liquid glue, offsetting the green cardstock. The sentiment was white heat embossed on a purple A2 card base. Finally the colored Mondo Sakura was adhered to the card base, which completed the card.

The Mondo Sakura is gorgeous and I can’t wait to create more cards with it. I hope to be sharing more cards using this set in the upcoming week. I am looking forward to seeing your creations using this beautiful floral set.
