This post is a special thank you to Kim Hughes, Owner of Paper Smooches. Carisa of Inky Fairy Designs and I were the lucky winners of an amazing Paper Smooches Instagram giveaway. Carisa suggested we both do a thank you blog post. What a fantastic idea! Carisa’s wonderful contributions can be viewed here.
My creations are below. We challenged ourselves to use something from each of the products we won. It was a little tricky at first, but I did it. I also added another personal challenge of just going with it and not worry too much. Sometimes I worry too much about being perfect and spend way too much time on creating something. I’m trying to get to a point where it is just natural.
What to do with the fruit set? I automatically saw flowers when I opened the fruit stamp package. So, I went with it and created a flower background. Can you see how I used items from the rest of the sets?
Thanks again, Kim, for the wonderful Instagram winnings. They are greatly appreciated and have been fun to play with!

Oh my goodness!!! I love the flowers you created using the Cute Fruit stamp – that is SO creative! I never would have thought to use them like that. I also love how you used the heart border dies on that card to frame your layers. I absolutely LOVE your second card! I like that we both saw the Group Hugs stamps paired with that Friend Word Die. I think they work so well together. I am so glad you were on board to do this fun thank you post to Kim with me! It is super fun to see how different crafters use the same products in such creative and diverse ways! Love it! Thanks again for tagging me to win with you! So cool!
Thanks so much =) I love that we connected on this. Your creations truly inspire me.
