Hello Friends! Kind of a late post for me, but we are in for a big storm and we already lost our power once this week. I decided to share now instead of scheduling for tomorrow morning. Just feels better that way for some reason!
How was your day? I caught a glimpse of the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday 334: Glitter Inlays challenge and had to create a card. I was inspired by Lexi’s grateful card with the yellow florals.
My card uses the Mix & Mat: Scallops Die, which I love the floral design. Add some purple glitter. (Please note the glitter color that I used was Lilac, not Purple Organza as stated in the supply list. I could not find the Lilac and the Purple Organza is a great alternative.) The sentiment is from Ways to Say: Thank You mini stamp set. It is heat embossed in gold on vellum.
Assemble the card with liquid glue adhesive with a layer of foam behind the scallop frame. Finally, add some nuvo crystal drops to the centers of the flowers.

Very pretty! So simple and striking card. The purple is a lovely choice. I love that die and I own it as well. Do you have issues when you cut with it? Mine does not cut well seems no matter what I try.
