Welcome!! Today I am sharing with you a fun card I created using the concept I learned from Summer School at My Favorite Things. When using the “rule of thirds” a card is divided into nine equal parts. The end result is a more visually appealing creation. To learn more, head on over to the My Favorite Things Blog.
While planning my card I found two card challenges to enter. So, let’s make it that much more of a challenge. Yes, I am known to make things a little difficult on myself. But, I believe the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge 127 and My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 232 were perfect to test out this design rule. Or am I cheating because part of my planning was sketch inspiration. Hmmm, I had fun….at the end of the day, isn’t that what really matters?!

Thank you, Veronica. The position of the squares did not turn out exactly like I envisioned, but still happy with the results.
