Happy Monday, Friends. Sending all of you some happy for the week. I have a couple of quick cards to share with you using the Big Happy Die from the Simon Says Stamp, Friendly Frolic release.
Happy Everything will Be Okay
For my first card, I used both layers of the Big Happy die, with the darker color on the bottom. (Sorry, I used colored cardstock from my scraps and do not have the colors.) While the layered die-cut was drying I clear heat embossed the Ornate Background on an A2 Slate Gray cardbase. The sentiment, “everything will be okay,” from the You Got This stamp set was white heat embossed on the dark pink cardstock. Then the sentiment was adhered to the top portion of the card.
This Card is Full of Happy
For my second card, I die-cut several of the small happy die from the Big Happy die set. I arranged them vertically and covered an A2 fog card panel. I decided to highlight the center happy by stacking five die-cuts with the top one being glitter cardstock. I added a simple sentiment above the glittered die-cut. The sentiment is, “this card is full of,” and is from the Big Thanks Words stamp set. Finally, I added a bunch of nuvo crystal drops in three shades of pink: carnation pink, rhubard crumble and autumn red. Once dry the card panel was adhered to an A2 card base.
