Hello Everyone! Welcome to Stamping Smiles Designs, Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge Two (#ssdtictactoechallenge). What a fabulous turnout for week one! I really had a lot of fun reading all of your blog posts and admiring your creations. Are you ready for Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge Two? I sure hope so!
Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge Two

My Choices:
Glitter | 100% Stamped | Stars
- Glitter – I do not generally use straight glitter, but this challenge was the perfect opportunity for me to branch out. Tim Holtz, Mustard Seed Distress Glitter by Ranger was applied to the large star. I adhered multiple layers of this messy glitter. The first, thin layer was adhered simply by stamping the star shape with versamark. I added a couple additional layers with glossy accents. I like how it turned out. What do you think?
- 100% Stamped – Stars are happy, right? And yellow is a happy color because it resembles sunshine. The stars are stamped in The Ton – Couture Color, Citrine Collection. And the sentiment is stamped in The Ton – Couture Color, Noir.
- Stars – My Aunt made my Sister a star pillow when we were young and hers said, “Kelly is a star.” So, stars make me think of my Sister. That is actually why I purchased the stamp set used in this card. It is Seeing Stars by Paper Smooches. It is a fun stamp set with different styled stars and amazing sentiments.

Your Valentine’s series is awesome, Tracie! What a fantastic idea! And I love your glittery star card for the challenge. I don’t use glitter often because of the mess, but whenever I see it on a card, I think I should do it more.
Awe, Thank you, Lindsey! Honestly, I would much rather create cards than write blog posts. I thought the Valentine’s Day Series would help give me a push. This week got away from me and I have yet to post..I will have to catch up this weekend. Being on a design team helps too. The more posts I do, the easier it gets =)
