Hello Everyone! I have a couple of cards to share with you using the Simon Says Stamp, Rose Flower Frame Wafer Die. Do you use your scraps when die-cutting? Well, I was sitting at my craft desk and next to me was a box of scraps that I needed to start creating with. In another box nearby were some new items that I had not created with yet.
I shared these cards on Instagram and then a bit later Simon Says Stamp shared them. Exciting, right?!!! Well, then a couple people asked questions regarding the supplies I used and also mentioned they didn’t see anything on my blog. Honestly, I do not blog all of my creations and I do not share all of my creations on social media. I create a lot of cards. I have been blogging more and I want to get in a better routine. It was actually quite encouraging to me that someone spoke up and voiced they went to my blog to look for something. That, my friends, encourages me to put more effort in my blogging. Thank you!
Here is a quick overview of the cards. This one is a 4-1/4″ square card.
And the other two in the picture below are standard A2 cards measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
I die-cut the frame three times in different colors. The insides of the flowers were used to piece back into the flowers. I used each color in each flower. For the yellow trimmed flower I made it a square card, so the panel was trimmed and then I added a yellow mat. The other two I decided to place directly on the white cardbase and stamp the sentiment on the wide portion on the bottom. I heat embossed the sentiments in white. Nuvo drops and a white gel pen were used to accent two of the flowers.
I have linked all of the supplies. Please note that these scraps were not labeled, so I did my best when noting the cardstock colors.
Thank you for spending some time with me. I will be back soon.
