Today I am officially welcoming you to my YouTube Channel – Tracie Pond (Creations For Kindness). This is a HUGE step for me. This is me being brave, brave, brave and totally stepping outside of my comfort zone. Why am I doing this? Because I want to encourage kindness. What better way to do this than with creations you have made. My creations will lean heavily on cards, but there are endless possibilities. Whatever makes you happy, I encourage you to share.
A little background information about myself. I have been dabbling in crafting and homemade all of my life. I have a background in computers and accounting. I worked several years in corporate accounting and was given the opportunity to become a stay at home wife. So, now what do I do? The initial answer for me was to start an online cardmaking supplies business. This consumed me for three years before I said this was not what I wanted in life. I loved interacting with my customers. But, I really did not have time to create. Actually, I didn’t have time for anything besides my business. Then we moved to a home on 10-acres and I just took some time to focus on what was in front of me. That meaning home, family and myself. I started allowing myself to do things that made me happy and not feeling bad about it.
All of this gave me time to focus on the next step in my journey. Share kindness! Share what you love! Share what makes you happy! Smiles and happiness are contagious. The world needs more of it.
Beware, I have a lot to learn. My blog is not perfect. My photos are not perfect. My YouTube and iMovie editing skills are not perfect. I am forever learning and am okay with that. I do not want to put off this journey any longer just because I am not perfect. I am a real person and this means a lot to me. Learning is part of the process / journey that I want to share.
